"Innovative solutions to quick identification and development of drugs for nervous system’s diseases"
(2010-2013) Investment: € 491,106.
The aim of this project is to create and develop new experimental and technological approaches to increase the speed on identification of chemical compounds, as a compound with potential interest in the treatment for nervous system diseases. With this approach the chemical compounds achieve rapidly the development phases required for approval of a new drug. The Biomar natural product library (AQUAc) obtained from natural microorganisms cultures perform the process. It has also set up new cellular assays on nerve cells to increase the degree of confidence in making decisions about each compound with positive activity.
